Rock Island Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

he essence of the Scottish Islands is bottled in Douglas Laing’s Rock Island. The mixture unites malts from Islay, Arran, Orkney, and Jura with an abundance of Island whiskies. Naturally, the whisky has not been colored or chilled-filtered, and it has been bottled at a very precise 46.8% ABV. If all of this sounds a little familiar, it’s because the blended malt was formerly known as “Rock Oyster.” The name was changed after it was discovered that a shocking number of people dislike oysters. Fear not—it’s still the same fantastic maritime whisky!
