Mcconnell’s Blended Irish Whiskey

Blended Irish Whiskeys typically combine malt and grain whiskies from different distilleries, and they are known for their smooth and approachable character. Two brothers founded McConnell’s in Belfast in 1776; it vanished in 1958 but reappeared a few years later! This blend, which has been aged in American oak barrels, is the 5-Year-Old from the range. A spicy but pleasant Irish whiskey! Its smell has hints of cedar, sweet spice, and peppery oak, it has a somewhat floral taste. The palate this whiskey holds is Crunchy bar, golden syrup, earthy vanilla pod, and mace and the finish is complete Toasty spices and dark treacle.
