Drumshanbo Galanta Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Every precious drop of Drumshanbo Galanta Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has been triple distilled by The Shed Head Distiller, Brian Taft, using Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley, and Irish bara oats. This is the first Irish whiskey from the Western province of Connacht in over 107 years. Aged in Kentucky Bourbon and Sherry Oloroso barrels without the addition of color or chill filtration, and then bottled at 43% alcohol by volume. “Galánta” means “elegant” in Irish, reflecting the refined and polished nature of this whiskey. Drumshanbo Galánta typically offers a sophisticated flavor profile with notes of rich fruit, sweet malt, and delicate spices. Tasting notes often include hints of honey, vanilla, and oak, with a smooth and balanced finish.
